WAPI Basics
WEDOS API, or WAPI for short, enables any user to control the services and other features in their account via custom software or popular admin interface plugins.
WAPI Setup
To enable WAPI, simply navigate to the WAPI section in the WEDOS.global Dashboard or enter the url client.wedos.global/wapi. Once there, set:
- Allowed IP Addresses. The system will only accept requests from IPs listed here. All other communication is blocked by default, so make sure to list every IP address your admin software might originate from.
- Password. Set a strong password to authenticate your WAPI requests. The system will require you to compose secure keys for every request, but this password is the basis for generating these keys. Some admin panel admin may use it for logging in the admin account, rather than the customer account password.
Once the WAPI is set up you are able to send requests and receive responses between WEDOS and your system.
