WEDOS.zone
WEDOS.zone, the Anycast DNS distribution system, was a natural evolution for WEDOS.global. WEDOS started as a hosting company and domain registrar, after all. We are well aware how important fast, secure and reliable DNS is.
WEDOS DNS
WEDOS has always had an extensive DNS system with primary and secondary DNS modes, AXFR access and full API support.
Primary and Secondary DNS
The Primary DNS method is the default way most DNS services operate – records are stored on and delivered via the DNS provider’s servers.
The Secondary DNS method operates differently: it uses the AXFR protocol to retrieve records from another provider’s primary server. This allows a provider to keep operating their current DNS solution, likely already linked to their customer’s control panel, while using WEDOS.global Anycast infrastructure for distribution.

WEDOS API
Providers seeking to retire their current DNS solution entirely can still use WEDOS DNS as their primary DNS without asking their customers to create WEDOS accounts and edit DNS records in the WEDOS.zone panel. WEDOS API (WAPI for short) enables anyone with a WEDOS account to add domains to DNS and manage records.
The API includes full support for secondary DNS as well, enabling anyone to create a custom interface for either method.
