How to Add a Domain
Once you are logged into your WEDOS.global account, protecting a website is as simple as adding the domain to WEDOS.protection in the WGP dashboard.
Follow along in the video below to start protecting your website:
Video transcript:
- In order to protect your website using WEDOS.protection, start by logging in to your WEDOS.global account at https://client.wedos.global to access the WGP dashboard.
- In the WGP User Dashboard click Add Domain or Protect new Domain. Then enter a domain or subdomain name without “www” and click Continue.
- If WEDOS is your DNS provider then choose WEDOS NS. If you have another DNS provider choose Custom NS servers with CNAME records or similar. Please note that with this option you will need to manually setup the DNS records with your provider. These two options will be explained further in the next lessons.
- Click Continue and then our system will scan your domain’s DNS records. Once this is finished, the results will be displayed. Please note that the scan results may not show all of the DNS records you have in your Zone File, but this will not affect the functionality of WEDOS.protection.
- To complete the setup process, follow the instructions on the screen. This will be explained further in the next lessons. Please note that making changes to DNS records can take minutes or hours to fully propagate.
- If everything is set up correctly, you should see a green check mark next to DNS and Certificate under the current Subscription plan on the Dashboard for your domain.
